Description
Indian tribe brought action to compel Bureau of Reclamation to provide funding, under mandatory contracting provisions of the Indian Self Determination and Education Assistance Act (IS- DEAA), to implement projects aimed at restoration of salmon and steelhead populations in Trinity River basin. Parties cross-moved for summary judgment. The United States District Court for the Northern District of California, Samuel Conti, J., entered judgment for Bureau. Tribe appealed.
