Provenance: Contributed to Sípnuuk by Frank Lake, compiled as part of his academic (Oregon State Univ. Ph.D, 2000-2007) and federal research investigations on tribes and natural resources. Frank wishes his electronic articles, reports, maps, photographs etc. to contribute to the preservation and maintenance of Northwestern California and other indigenous cultures’ traditional practices associated with environmental stewardship. The main goal is to “keep it living” in practice and with all the available media and forms of technology available.
