Lesson plans for Lesson 4 of the Seventh Grade curriculum. In this lesson, students will continue learning about social values and norms, and expand upon them to include tribal rules and social mores with subject focus on Native food and medicines. Using texts from the Karuk oral tradition, students will also learn to respect that these voiced and sometimes implicit understandings are socialization mechanisms, and that these are unique to the Karuk culture.Provenance: Contributed to Sípnuuk by the Karuk Tribe Department of Natural Resource Food Security Program
