Nanu'ávaha Sixth Grade Lesson 4: Oral Traditions

Description:
Lesson plans for Lesson 4 of the Sixth Grade curriculum. Students will build upon the knowledge learned in GL3 Native Small Animals lesson, and learn Karuk Oral tradition through one origin story that features rodents, and as a result of rehearsing an adapted play version, they will commit important formulaic Karuk language to memory. They will also learn terms associated with drama, and practice using these terms as they become familiar with stage direction and orientation as they read (and act!) the screenplay.
