Description: 

Lesson plans for Lesson 5 of the First Grade curriculum. Students will learn about marine life in relation to the traditional customs and cultural practices of the Hupa, Karuk, and Yurok people. They will learn about the Karuk People’s culture of trading with their neighboring tribes, and about some of the life forms that are used and identified as significant for these local tribes.
