Lesson plans for Lesson 1 of the Third Grade curriculum. Students will learn about the importance of water and water quality to the survival of many species, including those people who depend on these aquatic species and water quality for sustenance and traditional ceremonies. They will write a letter to their Senators and Representatives to tell them how important healthy rivers are.
